Wow… I am so shocked. This website has been available for a few years now and less than 6 months after the new owner takes over a fee is being charged. I guess i will go back to looking at job posting via erie 1 boces.., the buffalo news and school sites for free
If you recall, the previous owner had to either sell the site, charge a membership, or shut it down. $5 is less than a monthly subscription to the Buffalo News. I appreciate those who value our time and what we do at NYS Teaching Jobs. Best of luck to you.
It may be less than 1 month of the Buffalo News, however many of us who are utilizing this great service are on an EXTREMELY limited budget. That $60 a year does add up. I wish the moderator would have tried to get sponsors or some supplemental income from another source; that or not volunteered to take this site over. The membership fee is truly a shame!
I did not volunteer to take it over. I purchased it in order to keep it running. I’m sorry that you do not feel our time, or the money we’ve spent to keep this site operating, is as valuable as yours. It is disheartening, because we have worked very hard. Please feel free to email us if you have any further concerns. I truly hope you find a job in your certification area soon. That is all we want for our readers.
Waaaaaah cry me a river about $60 a year. The owner of this site puts in hours of his time to help no good people like you find a job. Quit wasting your time and energy complaining and go find a job.
This site is well worth the $5 fee, keep up the good work!
